It's the story of three outlaw brothers and the British colonial lawman trying to bring them to justice and civilize the Australian outback circa the late 1800s. It's a brutally violent and fly-infested flick. Seriously, there are flies everywhere in this morality tale of honor among thieves and dishonor among the civilized. It's also different from any western you've ever seen. As gruesome as the film is in parts, it's equally beautiful in others.Do yourself a favor. Rent it, send the wife and kids to bed, and watch it with your favorite drink in hand.
